How local processing works
- The browser validates input and selected mode.
- The isolated processor inspects supported categories and code points.
- Deterministic replacements and removals run entirely in memory.
- The report compares supported findings before and after and records actual browser duration.
Pasted text is not placed in URLs, cookies, analytics, localStorage, or sessionStorage. Only the theme preference may be stored.
Confirmed limitations and next integration
Anthropic has not published the technical detector needed for independent Claude watermark verification. A zero supported-character result is not a “clean” certificate.
If authoritative detection guidance becomes available, the isolated processor contract allows a reviewed detector to be integrated without coupling it to the interface. See the current checker and detection explainer.

Roadmap releases versus external updates
This roadmap records changes to this product. The Updates section separately tracks external Anthropic announcements and technical developments.
Every material release updates the central PHP registry with a revision number, date, status, summary, and factual bullets. Minor copy corrections do not become revisions.
