Scope of this policy

This policy explains how ClaudeWatermarkRemoval.com handles information when you browse the site or use its text tools. It describes the current implementation and may be revised if the service changes.

You do not need to create an account, sign in, or provide a name to use the current text-processing tool.

Pasted text and browser-based processing

Text pasted into the current remover or checker interface is handled client-side by JavaScript in your browser. It does not need to be submitted to the website server for processing.

The current code does not intentionally store textarea contents on the server, place them in cookies or browser storage, include them in page URLs, or send them to analytics. The checker inspects only documented Unicode formatting categories locally and does not upload pasted text.

A clipboard permission may be requested by your browser only when you choose to copy a result. Clipboard behavior is controlled by your browser and device.

Even with local processing, avoid pasting passwords, private keys, medical records, confidential business information, or other material you are not comfortable handling in a browser.

Hosting and server logs

Like most websites, the hosting provider or infrastructure may create routine server logs when pages and assets are requested. These logs may include an IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, user-agent information, and similar technical data.

Because textarea contents are processed in the browser and are not submitted as part of a request, normal server logs should not contain the text you paste into the tool. Logs may still record that your browser requested a page or asset.

Log retention and infrastructure security may depend on the hosting provider’s operational settings. This policy does not claim that the website collects no technical data at all.

Analytics, cookies, and browser storage

The production site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and general site usage. The Google tag may process information such as the page URL and title, browser and device details, approximate location derived from an IP address, referral information, and interactions with the site. Google Analytics may set first-party identifiers such as the _ga cookie, and Google handles analytics data under its own privacy terms.

The footer visit counter sets a short-lived first-party cwm_visit cookie containing only the value 1. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity and prevents navigation between pages during the same visit from increasing the aggregate counter. It does not contain pasted text or identify an account.

The UnikBrushes promotion stores only a browser-local calendar date and impression count in localStorage under cwm_ub_promo_frequency_v1. This frequency cap limits the popup to the first two eligible page loads per local day on that browser and device. It does not contain pasted text, identify an account, or synchronize across devices.

The light and dark theme control stores only the selected value light or dark in localStorage under cwm_theme_v1. If no preference is stored, the site follows the browser or operating-system color preference.

Google Signals and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the site configuration. The current implementation does not send pasted text, processed output, or checker input to Google Analytics, and it does not define analytics events from textarea contents.

The site may record UnikBrushes promotion views, closes, and clicks in Google Analytics. These events include only whether the placement was the popup or footer; they do not include pasted text, processed output, or personal content.

The remover and checker do not use localStorage or sessionStorage for pasted tool text. The hosting environment may also use essential technical mechanisms outside the application code.

External links

The educational pages link to external resources, including official Anthropic documentation. When you follow an external link, the destination site receives the request and applies its own privacy policy, cookies, logs, and security practices.

Links to the UnikBrushes contact page include an intent value and UTM campaign parameters so the referral and popup or footer placement can be measured at the destination. These links do not include text entered into the Claude Watermark Removal tools.

Claude Watermark Removal does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their privacy practices.

Security and retention

The site uses reasonable technical measures such as HTTPS canonicalization and browser security headers when supported by the hosting environment. No website or hosting platform can guarantee absolute security.

The application does not maintain user accounts or an application database. Pasted text has no application-level server retention period because the current tools do not submit it to the server.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated when tool behavior, hosting, analytics, cookies, legal requirements, or site features change. The date at the top of the page will be revised when material changes are published.

Continued use of the site after an update means the current published policy applies to that use.
